Draco couldn't help but laugh. She really was putting Jake in his place. "What else am I going to have to watch out for?"
He was going to learn all his secrets before Jake revealed them himself. Briefly he wondered if any of Jake's relationships had been like this. But quickly put that out of his mind not wanting to compare himself to others.
"That is a dubious line." Complete with a little pout but it melted into a smile again. "Blessed be the pickles." He smiled and looked back to Jenn. "How's school going, anyway?"
With Jake leaning in, head to head with Draco, Jenn told him some about how school was going, life in the states, and her friends. There was never mention of family.
"Thanks," Jake said as he gave a quick smile to Draco, then looked back to his sister. "We should get going, but I was hoping you two would get to chat."
"I should get going, too. I have class in twenty and I like to be early, even if it's next door. Take care of him, Draco, since I can't be there." She flashed a smile and waved. "Love you, Jake!"
"Love you too. Be safe over there." The sibling love was obvious.
"Likewise," Jenn said before she waved and the call died with that, the video ending.
Jake looked to Draco, smiling so brightly. "That's Jenn. What do you think of her?" There was a little bit of hope in his voice, wanting so badly for Draco's approval.
"Sorry, mate, I didn't mean to make your jealous." He shifted his weight so he could use his foot nudge Draco's gently. "I just really wanted you two to meet. You know how much I've been talking about you to her-- none of THAT stuff, though. Promise." He flashed a quick smile. "Good stuff. And I don't see how the programs weird. How do you guys talk long distance, then?"
"No worries. I'm glad you introduced me to her. She is a great person." He then got up from the chair to pull Jake into a hug, now that they were alone once more.
"As for how we communicate? Our fireplaces have multiple purposes. We can use it travel to other places or to communicate with others. You just have to make sure it's on the network. Some people choose not to be." Draco replied.
"...you're telling me Skype is strange and you're then telling me you use fireplaces like telephones." A raised eyebrow, trying to point out in turn how strange that is, but he slid his arms over Draco's hips. "...Careful though or I'll take you right back into the bedroom." A teasing, playful look, stealing a quick kiss.
Okay, he had to admit in the way Jake pointed out it was rather strange and that earned a chuckle. Only he wasn't going to openly admit it. "I did promise that we would finish what we started earlier," Draco replied wit a sly smile.
The chuckle was enough to prove he had gotten his point across. He smiled more at Draco's turn of phrase. "Is that so?" He murmured playfully. "Well then... seems to me like you should make good on that." He very well would let Draco lead the way if he wanted this time, though he knew Draco was still... learning, as it were.
Draco gave a playful tug toward the bedroom. His experience had only been with Pansy and a few one night stands. Jake was first the guy he had ever shown interest in. He was basically relearning everything he had known.
Jake would make sure Draco learned, one step at the time. There was something pleasant about getting to exhaust the other, curled up later against his side, then talk. About whatever came to mind because not there wasn't a giant lie between them. Falling asleep like that was even better, until he had to get up for work. A shower for them both, a walk for Lucky, then a quick question before he left.
"...Dragon, do you have a spell to unlock doors in your arsenal?"
Draco hated the fact that it was time to leave. Even though he hadn't meant to stay as long as he did. He gave a curious glance at Jake with the question.
"I can easily unlock doors, but I would feel as if I'm breaking in." He admitted. "Even if I got past that part you got to break through all the wards put on the house."
"There's no wards here to be had," Jake pointed out, grinning. "I wanted to know if I needed to give you a key or not. I told you, my home is a safe place for you. Always welcomed. If you can pop the door open, that'll do." He smiled just a bit more. "Unless you want a physical key, just have to wait until I can get one."
"I wouldn't mind a physical key. This means a lot to me." Draco replied with a wide smile. His whole face lit up at the news. "But for now I can settle on using a spell to unlock it."
He loved when he could get that smile out of Draco. He stole another kiss, then squeezed one more time before he pulled back. "Get here by five Friday, okay? We'll get picked up, hit up for groceries, then go out to the mountains. Make sure you have everything packed because theres no going back no matter how stupid we are." grin.
"Alright, I will be there at five." He gave a quick kiss in return and then head back to his place leaving Jake at his work place.
A few days later, Draco approached Remus. He had wanted to talk to Remus before hand about the possible idea, but never got that opportunity. They had a long discussion on what to do with the Malfoy Mannor and were finally content on what to do with the place. They allowed him to make the final decision and even though there was some tension about the decision they were okay with it. Now it was just to finalize things.
"Remus?" Draco approached him. "There was something I wanted to discuss with you and I wanted your opinion on it before a final decision was made."
"Draco!" The older man smiled. "I was actually coming to look for you and find out if you were busy tonight." He had that twinkle in his eye, meaning he was up to something. "If you need my help, you know I'll offer it, but I was wondering if you wanted to go out for another round of training tonight. If you aren't going out, of course."
"I wouldn't mind a training session tonight," Draco replied with a grin, quiet excited by the idea. Those training sessions were always fun and he could never expect what would happen with Remus in charge.
He moved to sit down next to Remus. "It's a rather complex situation involving the Malfoy Mannor." Draco stated. He spoke in a more serious manner wanting to let Remus know he wasn't jesting or that it was some trick.
"And a conversation of yours had gotten me thinking. What if the werewolves had a stable place to live? If that would help their situation at all."

"I'm going to simply have to get even with him only when he's least expecting it."

"That's what big sisters are for." She leaned forward on her hand, smirking towards the camera.
"Being mean?? Yes I agree!"

"Well, my little brother is getting me a jar of pickles-"
"Two!" Jake quickly chirped up, his grin too wide to be anything but playful in this whole business.
Jenn looked to Draco as if helpless. "He drives a good bargain, Draco."

"I will learn all your secrets soon enough."

He left briefly to go get some more tea and to fill Jake's mug as well. He figured he would allow them some brief time alone.
