Remus, already running on a lack of sleep, started hard as the dishes hit the floor. His nerves weren't going to survive this. Much like Draco was thinking, Remus knew that the denial he heard in Narcissa meant this conversation wouldn't go well, possibly go horribly.
"He's had months away from everything," he said quietly, but firmly. "I fear for all of you if he doesn't get some real help. How long until he lashes out? What if he doesn't recognize one of you or worse, sees you as an enemy?"
