Yes, the Draco they knew wouldn't be caught being seen with a Muggle...but a lot had changed in the last month or so.
Draco couldn't help shake his head at Goyle's remark. In he old days he would have pulled Goyle to the side and yelled at him for being dumb and not thinking first. Or roughed him up a bit depending on how severe the mistake was. He at least thought the others would have known better.
"And it still seems like you haven't learned much," Draco replied in a snide tone. He noted how easily he slipped into that tone. It was an attempt to at least warn him to shut up, but he doubted Goyle would pick up on it. He didn't want to single out Jake. He didn't want Jake to be their target.
