"Good morning," Draco greeted with a smile. It seemed for now he didn't have to worry. Seeing that Melinda was busy, he figured he would talk with her later and headed into the kitchen.

He was actually rather surprised, yet at the same time pleased. His mother appeared to be less stressed and didn't look exhausted. His father was starting to look better himself. The dark circles under his eyes were gone and it looked as if he was picking up weight again.

His parents greeted him happily and made their usual fuss over him. While the breakfast was cooking, they filled each other in on what had been going on the last few days. Draco explained about the lessons he was receiving from Remus and how he wanted to try and study more...despite his lack of studying at school. Which of course his father didn't leave alone. He was just glad that someone finally managed to convince Draco that knowledge was important.

He did not mention his Muggle friends and the various take out meals he was introduced to. Maybe later he might request to learn how to cook...but for now watching his father's smug expression was enough to deal with.

Draco couldn't help, but feel content as it was almost like the old days. He hoped that it would continue to get better for all of them.
