"Connections... doesn't fix everything," Remus responded cautiously, bu it was all he was willing to go into with Draco. He couldn't feel entirely sorry for the Malfoys, given that they had chosen their own paths, but he did feel a touch sorry for Draco who had been pulled along with them. That was how he had been raised. The question was, how much was his upbringing and how much was just him as a man?

Draco had a point about how long Lucius had been out there. Remus frowned, standing up as well. "You shouldn't go out there alone with the dementors possibly still close." He was surprised to hear about the mental loss, though. What was going on with Lucius that Draco would suggest such a thing? That was a concern all on its own.
