Remus gave a long, slow stretch, feeling his body ache heavily in certain areas with old injuries. The scars crossing his body were numerous and many might have considered them frightening or ugly, in particular because it looked like he had been savaged over and over again. The worst, to him, were the ones that came from Greyback. The deep pits of scars at his shoulder where the wolf's teeth had sunk in and held him as a screaming child, the claw lines down his left thigh and ones over his ribs... they were marks of shame in his eyes, but not for a reason any one else would properly understand. Sometimes, they ached, and this morning was no exception.

But all of that was hidden under a faint smile, despite the bags under his eyes and the tiredness in his face. "If you didn't like it last time, this time won't be much better, but breakfast afterward might make up for it." He offered his hand to Vrenille, hoping that maybe over this meal he'd learn a bit more about this stranger from another country.
