What was a tired, pained, but not unfriendly look on Remus' face changed to a look of abject terror when the stranger spoke those words. Oh by Merlin... he had attacked this man. Immediately his heart began racing in his chest, fear pulsing through him. He scanned up and down Vrenille's body but saw no tear marks, but that meant little. "Did- did he hurt you?" It had been Sirius that had started to get him to talk about Moony in the third person, and it came without much thought now. "I- bloody hell-"

This was his nightmare, to have attacked someone and changed them as well, making the cycle started by Greyback complete. Normally he would be trudging back towards the little shack on the moor, calling his wand to him along the way to make it easier, so that he could get cleaned, dressed, and use the portkey to get himself back to town for a proper breakfast.

This was a bit of a damper on those plans, though.
